Diaper Chute Auger Cover for Volumetric Cement Mixer Trucks

These mount on the chute or snout of your cement mixer to catch debris. These have been referred to as a diaper, chute sock, bib, or nappy. Several styles are available to suit your needs.

SIZING:

• 12" Auger
  • • Previously known as Gen III, this is our standard fitted diaper, tapered on one side to clear the hydraulic hoses exiting the bottom of the auger. The overall size is slightly smaller than our Large diaper. Popular on most modern mixers.
      
• Extra Large
  • • Previously known as Gen I, this is our orignal 60" x 60" universal diaper we've been making since 1998, big enough to wrap around any auger setup, but often too big for most modern mixers.
• Large
  • • Previously known as Gen II, this is a shortened version of our Extra Large diaper. The width is still 60", but the length is shortened by 18" for those who require something more fitted.
• 9" Auger
  • • Our smallest diaper, designed for trucks equipped with a 9" auger, tapered on one side to clear the hydraulic hoses exiting the bottom of the auger. Some customers with modded mount locations prefer this size even on a 12" auger.

DRAINAGE:

• Grommets
  • • Drainage grommets are the most popular, included on the bottom to allow water to drain out.
• Screens
  • • Drainage screens are the original design, using a fine mesh window on the bottom to ensure no small debris can escape.
• No Drainage
  • • No drainage is for customers who require a solid vinyl diaper to collect everything that falls into it. Only choose this option if you are aware that it will attempt to hold 1,000 pounds of water if left unattended, outside in a storm, backing down a boat ramp, and other unpredictable scenarios that drivers get into.
